Hello from Portland, Oregon!  My name is Janet and I am a handmade maker of jewelry.  I've always been interested in the creative arts--it runs in my family with a graphic designer sister, architect brother and muralist daughter. I've been in the advertising business my entire career so appreciate the creative side of things myself. Full disclosure,

I cannot draw a stick figure, but I don't let that stop me.

I got started many years ago making and designing jewelry as a passion project  

and got serious a few years ago after many people asked to buy what I was wearing. 

When not making jewelry, you might find me cooking & entertaining.  Reading (just finally went with a Kindle). Running/walking. Getting together for happy hour with friends, either in person or on the Zoom platform. I'm a political junkie and always have been interested in social justice.  As a passionate lover of the outdoors--I couldn't live in a better place for natural beauty than here in Oregon. I love the handmade culture--

Boffo is a slang term from the 60's meaning to be great or sensational. It's a word that resonates with me and my products.
